Born with Cerebral Palsy, Ellen has been advocating for people with disabilities for over 50 years in her home state of North Carolina. She provides presentations at conferences throughout the nation and services on national boards. Ellen also shares her experiences in books that help people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities learn how to live fulfilling lives in the communities of their choice. She is currently available to give presentations, speak at conferences, consult on projects, assist with implementation of Simple English (3rd grade reading level), and more.
